Since its founding, the Euromediterranean Cultural Heritage Agency has made the quality of its initiatives one of its strategic goals, with the professionalism and expertise of its teams as the foundation of its projects and activities, and outcome assessment as a key tool for improving performance and fully achieving its objectives. This journey, often challenging and demanding, has been pursued with determination, resulting in numerous high-profile cultural activities aimed at raising awareness, appreciation, and value of cultural heritage as a vehicle of common identity and shared memory.
From 2003 to the present, to highlight only the most significant projects and achievements, the Agency has managed 22 initiatives in support of the cultural heritage of Italy and the Euromediterranean region. These projects were implemented through community programs (INTERREG, CADSES, CULTURE 2000, LIFELONG LEARNING), national and regional programs (POR), and submitted to European, national, and regional calls for proposals, as well as through self-financing.
Today, the Agency represents a point of reference for efforts in the enhancement, promotion, conservation, protection, restoration, and planning of Euromediterranean cultural heritage. It serves as a bridge between the region’s needs for cultural promotion and the policy guidelines of national governments and international organizations, with the aim of fostering effective integration between different areas of the European Union and the Mediterranean basin.
